How many Flying Blue Miles do I earn on KLM and Air France?
On flights marketed by KLM, Air France and Transavia you earn Miles per euro spent on the ticket (fare plus carrier-imposed surcharges, excluding government taxes): Explorer 4, Silver 6, Gold 7, Platinum 8 Miles per euro. A €1,000 ticket earns 4,000 Miles as Explorer and 8,000 Miles as Platinum.
How many Miles do I earn on SkyTeam partner flights?
On partner airlines such as Delta, Korean Air or SAS, Miles are based on flight distance and booking class rather than price. Silver, Gold and Platinum members get a status bonus of 50%, 75% and 100% on top. This calculator assumes 100% of the distance as base Miles; discounted fares can earn less.
What is the difference between Flying Blue Miles and XP?
Miles are a currency: you spend them on reward tickets, upgrades and partner rewards. XP (Experience Points) only count towards your status (Silver 100 XP, Gold 180 XP, Platinum 300 XP) and cannot be spent.
Do Flying Blue Miles expire?
Flying Blue Miles stay valid as long as you earn or spend Miles at least once every 24 months, for example by flying or using a partner. Holders of a Flying Blue co-branded credit card keep their Miles valid while the card is active.
